“When we embarked on our Bach building journey, we had a vision and a dream of creating a space for our family and friends to enjoy for many years to come. Further, we hoped it would be a place that complemented our lifestyle which is centered around the ocean and also to be a haven to relax in at the end of busy working weeks and in holidays. 

Bay Homes more than delivered in all areas and exceeded our expectations. They provided design inspiration and quality workmanship to literally turn our dream into a reality. From the outset we knew we were in a special partnership underpinned by trust which grew as the project progressed. This was essential as a good portion of the build took place during lockdown where we were unable to visit the site and relied on the amazing comms and regular updates from Adam and Deb. This unique situation had us relying heavily on the expertise of the Bay Homes team to take our ideas and provide solutions in all areas ranging from external cladding right down to the fridge and everything in between. They did this so well and although we couldn’t be there, the online platform they created for us and their commitment to keeping us updated is such a credit to them and it gave us the feeling we were there every step of the way.

"In 2019, Bay Homes took on the large renovation and extension of our nearly century old house.

We wanted builders who we could regularly touch base with and bounce ideas off and who really knew building.  The boys were all of this and more and completely took in their stride all of the challenges that our quirky house threw at them.  

The scope of our project involved everything from installing new windows and doors, replacing exterior weatherboards, building a new raised floor in our old garage, building four new rooms and converting a bedroom into a scullery. On top of this, we didn't provide a draughted plan. Bay Homes’ experience and advice was invaluable when it came to layout and sizing of rooms and we were able to make decisions as we went along based on their sound advice.  

Because we planned to live in the house throughout, Bay Homes managed the renovation in two stages and not only were the boys flexible with working around our family, they were also great to have around, so much so that we missed them when they finally signed off on the completed renovation!"

I wanted to build a pergola over my main door – it was a small job so I didn’t want to involve an architect. It was great to be able to talk over the design with them – I wanted something unconventional so it took a bit of figuring out. Throughout the project the communications and follow up were great, the job was completed on time and on budget. I am very happy with the finished result – the pergola has a light airy feel – I can see the sky and best of all it keeps the area around the door dry (most of the time). Thanks Adam and Dave it was a pleasure working with you.
